While most February releases are still geared towards the previous generation, </del>there <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">are </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">few next-gen games that should start </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">ball rolling for </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">PlayStation 4 and </del>Xbox <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">One. Let's take a look at </del>what <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">February has to of</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Given the new 22 Cans venture, it</del>'s <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">unclear how involved Molyneux will actually be as </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"creative consultant" and it's hard not to speculate that title is more </del>of a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">PR move than an actual indication that the designer will be very involved in the completion of the project. The "creative consultant" position is becoming </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">go-to move for developers lately, as major figure-heads leave fan-favoite studios in </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">midst of oft-delayed projects, since the situation is especially reminiscent of the recent Fumito Ueda/Team Ico change-

Leading up to E3 2012, </del>many <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">of </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">big game announcements were unveiled early, from Star Wars 1313 to Gears of War: Judgment </del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Still, there were a few pleasant surprises during the five major press conferences -- Watch Dogs and Beyond: Two Souls </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">name just two </del>-<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">- in a year that focused heavily on software </del>as <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the current console generation approaches the end </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">its life cy

Demonstrated by Molyneux -- a gamer who loves to sit back and relax on </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">couch -- players will eventually be able to say something like</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"Move you old hag</del>,<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">" and </del>their <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">horse will begin trotting off</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">It’s </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">simple concept</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but one that adds </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the immersion of the experie</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Over the years, especially after </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">success </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the studio's first console title</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable </del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">back in 2004</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Molyneux has become </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">fan-favorite figurehead for the gaming industry - similar </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the "celebrity" </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">similar designers like Cliff Bleszinski, Hideo Kojima, or Gabe Newell. As a result, there's little doubt </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">fans of the </del>Lionhead <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">brand </del>will <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">see </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">departure as a potential death-blow to the studio - despite Molyneux's co-founder, Mark Webley, sticking around to run the stu</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Like most PC games</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">graphics settings are customizable</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">as are </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">control schemes. Unlike the 360 version, the PC version allows players </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">increase </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">difficulty level - which some may find too easy on the default setting</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">You'd expect a feature </del>like <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">this to have been available in the original version of the title - </del>better <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">late </del>than <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">never</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">I supp
</del>

Unless Telltale Games is preparing to announce and adaptation of Allen Ginsberg's life, we'd bet that an update on Fables is imminent. The only question remains: just how much progress has the studio made, and how big an influence will The Walking Dead 's success have? The developers are certainly not the type to twist other games to capitalize on another's success, but there's no reason the art style or advertising couldn't be tied into their most successful game e

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">One significant difference between </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">horse </del>in The <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Journey and </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">dog </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">previous Fables is </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">inclusion </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Kinect . Though dogs are largely considered </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">be fairly smart animals</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">its intelligence pales </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">comparison to that </del>of the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">horse</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">By voicing a certain command during each tug of </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">reins</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">your horse </del>will <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">eventually develop a connection between progressing forward and </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">specific comm</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Oftentimes</del>, the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">other concern, </del>when <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">discussing ported games</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">is </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">controls</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Lionhead claimed </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">this was their number </del>one <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">priority </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">building </del>the PC version <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">of </del>the game<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">. They completely reconfigured the control system for the PC - taking advantage </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">key things like </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">mouse wheel (which is used to switch between magic</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">guns</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and swords</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">similar </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">how it is used </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">shooters to switch weapons</del>)<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">. The game controls well, and </del>even <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">for a native Xbox player I found it easy </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">pick up </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">play. Of course</del>, the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">game also supports gamepads</del>, and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">using </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">360 controller offered a equivalent experience </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">playing on </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">X</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"It is with mixed emotions that I made </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">decision to leave </del>Microsoft <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and Lionhead Studios</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the company that I co-founded </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">1997, at the conclusion of development of </del>Fable: The Journey <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">[...] I remain extremely passionate and proud of the people</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">products and experiences that </del>we <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">created, from B lack & White </del>to [https://fablelegendary.com/ <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable Tips</del>|<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Https</del>://<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fablelegendary</del>.<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Com</del>/] <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">to our pioneering work with Milo and Kate </del>for the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Kinect platform. However</del>, I <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">felt </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">time was right to pursue </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">new independent ventu</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">It's a source of controversy whenever a game developer favors a console over the </del>PC <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">(many would say that Crytek shackled Crysis 2 on the PC for this reason). In some ways it makes sense to be critical - </del>as <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">gamers usually put down astronomical amounts of cash for </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">latest, most powerful, hardware for their gaming machines</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">As a result, they rightly want to see it used prope

F able 3 released to mostly positive reviews for </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Xbox </del>360, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">though some were dissatisfied with </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">simpler upgrade system, </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">smaller game world, and </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">diluted enemy diversity</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Now Fable 3 is finally heading </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Windows PC, </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">delay between versions was supposedly due to the fact that Lionhead built a PC </del>version <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">that goes beyond a simple port. If you missed our original review, which covers </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">story and basic gameplay</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">check it out - her</del>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Welcome to the first day of Game Rant</ins>'s <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">E3 2010 coverage. The first big event </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the show, Microsoft's press conference</ins>, is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">scheduled </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">begin at 10:30 AM Pacific Time. No doubt </ins>there <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">will be </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">ton of information on </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">newly named Kinect . The only question remains: just how much progress has the studio made, and how big an influence will The Walking Dead 's success have? The developers are certainly not the type to twist other games to capitalize on another's success, but there's no reason the art style or advertising couldn't be tied into their most successful game e

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"As co-founder of Lionhead and an integral part of Microsoft Studios, Peter was the creative visionary behind </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">blockbuster Fable franchise, and one of our most passionate and influential developers for the Xbox 360 platform. He has made an indelible mark on the games industry and we wish him all the best of luck </ins>in <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">his future endeavo

When Telltale Games announced that they would be bringing Fables , an adaptation of the Vertigo graphic novel series to gamers everywhere, it was hard to know what to expect. That was before </ins>The <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Walking Dead made the studio one of </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">most impressive </ins>in the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">realm </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">video game writing , not </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">mention undisputed masters of episodic relea

Set soon after the events of Fable 3 </ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The Journey puts players </ins>in <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">control </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">a new hero who has just come upon Theresa; the blind fortuneteller featured prominently in </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable series</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Tasked with bringing Theresa to </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Spire</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">our hero </ins>will <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">have to venture through an Albion </ins>that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">will feel somewhat famil</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Now</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable 3 might not be anywhere close to Crysis 2 , but </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">PC version does have a massive graphical overhaul - </ins>when <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">compared to the Xbox 360 version. Aside from offering a greater resolution</ins>, the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">PC version also supports 3D</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Many might argue </ins>that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">3D is an unnecessary gimmick - but there's no denying it's a very pretty </ins>one<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">. While the term, "eye-popping" might be overused - the 3D </ins>in the PC version <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">literally makes </ins>the game<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">'s graphics pop, which adds an extra layer </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">icing to </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">c

As mentioned</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Molyneux makes it clear that</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">while he is leaving the studio</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">he'll continue </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">oversee the upcoming casual but hardcore-friendly Kinect title , Fable: The Journey (slated for release </ins>in <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">2012</ins>) <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">as a creative consultant - </ins>even <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">though he's moving on </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">start another studio, entitled 22 C

First </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">foremost</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Molyneux wanted to clear the air by saying that </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">demo shown during the E3 press conference was indeed an "on rails" sequence</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but was not indicative of the final experience. In an effort to keep bugs </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">motion control issues to a minimum, </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">team at Lionhead devised this tech demo </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">show the capabilities of the game, not necessarily what </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">final product will look l</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Since, contrary to popular opinion after </ins>the Microsoft <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">press conference</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">players will actually be able to explore a large chunk of Albion </ins>in Fable: The Journey , we <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">thought it important </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">report-on the context for this advent

Having recently finished </ins>[https://fablelegendary.com/ <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">fable updates</ins>|<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">https</ins>://<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">fablelegendary</ins>.<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">com</ins>/] <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">3 myself, I was eagerly anticipating a reveal </ins>for <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Lionhead Studios’ next adventure. Though this wasn’t exactly </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable I was looking for</ins>, I <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">went into </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">demo with an open mind and came out </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">believer, not just because of the compelling power of Peter Molyneux’s imagination, but because the game sounds really awes</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Like most </ins>PC <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">games, graphics settings are customizable, </ins>as <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">are </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">control schemes</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Unlike </ins>the 360 <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">version</ins>, the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">PC version allows players to increase </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">difficulty level - which some may find too easy on </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">default setting</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">You'd expect a feature like this </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">have been available in </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">original </ins>version <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">of </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">title - better late than never</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">I supp</ins>
Hopefully we'll find out about Capcom Vs. For better or for worse</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the last generation of console was dominated by online gaming with competitive matchmaking becoming a norm for most AAA game titles</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">helping make </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">eSports culture more mainstream</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The popularity of series such as Halo </del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Call of Duty and FIFA meant that for many gamers, online play was </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">main reason </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">keep playing </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">game. The consequences of </del>this <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">were that several publishers became slaves </del>to the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">trend</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">putting (forcing?) in needless multiplayer modes that took away from certain game as a wh</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">In an interview with Digital Spy </del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Head of Lionhead Studios John Needham explained </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">this new online direction for </del>the studio <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">isn't going to be exclusive to Fable Legends . Following the departure of Peter Molyneux </del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Needham - who has </del>an <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">MMO pedigree - took over </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">studio in his stead. With that pedigree, he said that all future </del>games <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">from the studio will boast "connected" aspects. Being candid about his roots, Neeham said, "We</del>'<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">re online game guys</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">that</del>'s the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">studio. We love online games, we love interaction with real people, and we want to bring that magic to Fable" . He explained that interaction </del>between <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">characters </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">NPCs </del>is <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">what made </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">world </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Albion a special place </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">play </del>in. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The goal </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">[https://fablelegendary.com/ Fable beginner guide|https://fablelegendary.com/] Legends is to experiment with </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">dynamic and see what would happen if you substituted those interactions and brought in real players to the </del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">First and foremost</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Molyneux wanted to clear </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">air by saying </del>that the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">demo shown during </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">E3 press conference was indeed an "on rails" sequence, but was not indicative </del>of the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">final experience. In an effort </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">keep bugs </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">motion control issues </del>to a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">minimum</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the team at Lionhead devised this tech demo to show the capabilities of </del>the game, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">not necessarily what </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">final product will look l</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">That criteria </del>is <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">consonant </del>with <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">a </del>Lionhead <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">job listing which surfaced last year</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">brimming with suggestive language related to next</del>-<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">gen engine/graphical design</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">There are some curious distinctions</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">however</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">present in </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">animation director description that point directly toward work on </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable franch</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">One </del>of the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">franchises </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">came out largely unscathed by excessive multiplayer capabilities was </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable series</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">While Fable III did boast co</del>-<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">op capabilities, Lionhead Studios has never done anything quite on the scale </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">what it is attempting with </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">newly announced Fable Legends . The franchise's next-gen debut</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">an Xbox One exclusive</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">is an ambitious online jump </del>for <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the series</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">allowing up </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">four players the opportunity to work together in order thwart another player taking on the role of the vill</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The Journey evoked </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">past </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">franchise </del>is <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">sorely in need of honoring. The hiring of Needham could presage </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">concepts it uses </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">do so uniquely. Whether or not Fable 4 would find success with such </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">model, well, </del>that<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">'s another matter entirely</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">But with Microsoft anxious to preview its exclusive launch line-up for </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">next-gen Xbox both at its May 21 press conference </del>and, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">doubtless, E3 2013 , </del>it <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">might be long before we find</del>
<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">
Winter's still going on strong - for most of us, anyway - but the gaming release lull </ins>is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">slowly coming to </ins>an <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">end! While most February releases are still geared towards the previous generation</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">there are </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">few next-gen </ins>games <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">that should start the ball rolling for the PlayStation 4 </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Xbox One</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Let's take </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">look at what February has </ins>to of

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Given </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">new 22 Cans venture</ins>, it's <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">unclear how involved Molyneux will actually be as </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"creative consultant" </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it</ins>'<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">s hard not to speculate that title is more of a PR move than an actual indication that the designer will be very involved in the completion of the project</ins>. The <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"creative consultant" position is becoming a go-to move for developers lately</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">as major figure-heads leave fan-favoite studios in the midst of oft-delayed projects</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">since </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">situation is especially reminiscent </ins>of the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">recent Fumito Ueda/Team Ico change-</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Leading up to E3 2012</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">many of </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">big game announcements were unveiled early</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">from </ins>Star Wars <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">1313 to Gears of War</ins>: <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Judgment . Still</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">there were a few pleasant surprises during the five major press conferences -- Watch Dogs and Beyond</ins>: <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Two Souls to name just two -- in </ins>a year that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">focused heavily </ins>on <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">software as the current console generation approaches the end </ins>of its <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">life cy</ins>

Demonstrated by Molyneux -- a gamer who loves to sit back and relax on the couch -- players will eventually be able to say something like, "Move you old hag," and their horse will begin trotting off. It’s a simple concept, but one that adds to the immersion of the experie

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Over the years</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">especially after the success of the studio</ins>'<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">s first console title, Fable , back in 2004</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Molyneux has become a fan-favorite figurehead for </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">gaming industry - similar </ins>to the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"celebrity" of similar designers like Cliff Bleszinski, Hideo Kojima, or Gabe Newell. As a result, there</ins>'s <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">little doubt that fans of the Lionhead brand will see the departure as a potential death-blow </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the studio - despite Molyneux</ins>'<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">s co-founder, Mark Webley</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">sticking around </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">run </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">stu</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Like most PC </ins>games, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">graphics settings are customizable</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">as are </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">control schemes</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Unlike the 360 version</ins>, the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">PC version allows players </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">increase the difficulty level - which some may find too easy on the default setting. You'd expect </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">feature like </ins>this to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">have been available in the original version of </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">title - better late than never</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">I supp</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Unless Telltale Games is preparing to announce and adaptation of Allen Ginsberg's life</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">we'd bet </ins>that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">an update on Fables is imminent. The only question remains: just how much progress has </ins>the studio <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">made</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and how big </ins>an <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">influence will The Walking Dead 's success have? The developers are certainly not </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">type to twist other </ins>games <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">to capitalize on another</ins>'<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">s success</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but there</ins>'s <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">no reason </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">art style or advertising couldn't be tied into their most successful game e

One significant difference </ins>between <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the horse in The Journey </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the dog in previous Fables </ins>is the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">inclusion </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Kinect . Though dogs are largely considered </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">be fairly smart animals, its intelligence pales </ins>in <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">comparison to that of the horse</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">By voicing a certain command during each tug </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the reins, your horse will eventually develop a connection between progressing forward and </ins>that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">specific comm</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Oftentimes, the other concern, when discussing ported games</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">is </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">controls. Lionhead claimed </ins>that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">this was their number one priority in building the PC version of </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">game. They completely reconfigured the control system for </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">PC - taking advantage </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">key things like </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">mouse wheel (which is used </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">switch between magic, guns, </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">swords, similar to how it is used in shooters </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">switch weapons). The game controls well, and even for </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">native Xbox player I found it easy to pick up and play. Of course</ins>, the game <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">also supports gamepads</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and using the 360 controller offered a equivalent experience to playing on </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">X</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"It </ins>is with <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">mixed emotions that I made the decision to leave Microsoft and </ins>Lionhead <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Studios</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the company that I co</ins>-<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">founded in 1997, at the conclusion of development of Fable: The Journey [..</ins>.<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">] I remain extremely passionate and proud of the people</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">products and experiences that we created</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">from B lack & White to [https://fablelegendary.com/ Fable Tips|Https://Fablelegendary.Com/] to our pioneering work with Milo and Kate for </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Kinect platform. However, I felt </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">time was right to pursue a new independent ventu</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">It's a source </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">controversy whenever a game developer favors a console over </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">PC (many would say </ins>that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Crytek shackled Crysis 2 on </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">PC for this reason)</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">In some ways it makes sense to be critical </ins>- <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">as gamers usually put down astronomical amounts </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">cash for </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">latest</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">most powerful</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">hardware </ins>for <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">their gaming machines. As a result</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">they rightly want </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">see it used prope</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">F able 3 released to mostly positive reviews for the Xbox 360, though some were dissatisfied with the simpler upgrade system, </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">smaller game world, and </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">diluted enemy diversity. Now Fable 3 </ins>is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">finally heading to Windows PC, </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">delay between versions was supposedly due </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the fact that Lionhead built </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">PC version </ins>that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">goes beyond a simple port</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">If you missed our original review, which covers </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">story </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">basic gameplay</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">check </ins>it <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">out - her</ins>
No doubt there will </del>be a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">ton of information on </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">newly named Kinect . I cringed when they showed Kinectimals . I scratched my head when I saw </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">running in place game and I literally had </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">leave the room when they showed the fitness title. The racing </del>game <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">in which you steer with your hands was easily the most hardcore-oriented title shown for Kinect</del>. The <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">dancing game really irked me though because everyone they brought out </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">play already knew </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">routines. I don’t see how one without knowledge of the dance steps prior would be able to play </del>(<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">dance</del>) <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">at </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">level of enjoyment and not make </del>a <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">few more mistakes along the </del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">First</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">we have </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Natal imagined by Cirque de Soleil debut which</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">if you weren’t there</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">was not very </del>"<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">hardcore</del>" <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and did focus on Kinect</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Wireless</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">controller free </del>game <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">demos</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">which many believe were pre-rendered, saturated the performance. The next thing the world saw from Microsoft at the world</del>'s <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">biggest trade event was </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Microsoft Press Conference</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">meant to focus mainly on Xbox 360 </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">its exclusive lineup, or so </del>we <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">thought</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">This showing could not have been too substantial for hardcore revealed </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">gamers very little because most </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the content was already speculated or announced by MS themselves before hand</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">We knew we </del>would <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">hear from three of the Xbox's ONLY _ exclusive secret weapons; _Fable III, Gears of War III </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Halo: Reach . Therefore, their presence </del>brought <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">very little excitem</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Oftentimes</del>, the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">other concern</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">when discussing ported games</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">is </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">controls. </del>Lionhead <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">claimed that </del>this <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">was their number one priority in building </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">PC version </del>of the game<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">. They completely reconfigured </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">control system for the PC - taking advantage of key things like the mouse wheel (</del>which <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">is used to switch between magic</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">guns, and swords, similar </del>to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">how it is used in shooters to switch weapons)</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The game controls well, and even for a native Xbox player I found it easy to pick up and play. Of course</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the game also supports gamepads</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and using </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">360 controller offered a equivalent experience to playing </del>on the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">X</del>

<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">When Fable: The Journey </del>was <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">first demoed during </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Microsoft press conference many gamers balked at </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">idea </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">playing </del>the next <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">title </del>in <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">a very adventure friendly title using Kinect. Amidst a ton </del>of <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">demos that were showcasing titles that were "on rails," Fable: The Journey looked to be unfortunately following along </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">same tr</del>

The <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">industry's current infatuation with motion control gaming </del>is <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">openly seen as a clever (or not so clever) ploy to divert the attention </del>of the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">"casual" gamer from Nintendo’s very successful Wii console</del>. <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">It has been common knowledge for some time now </del>that <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">both Sony and MS are developing their own approach to motion control gaming, the Move and Kinect respectively</del>. But to <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">take </del>the <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">world's largest annual industry platform, </del>at <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">which many of gaming's biggest showcases have occurred, </del>and <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">focus on this single</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">controversial piece of hardware as the centerpiece has left many fans</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">myself included</del>, <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">shaking their fist in the air and wondering what the heck happe</del>
<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The comment is an odd one as thus far, Fable Legends looks like it has a very direct approach to online play allowing you </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">set up games with friends, while both Journey and Dark Souls had more passive systems that limited interaction with other players</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">They were powerful multiplayer experiences though, and if Fable Legends can figure out a way to incorporate some </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">their elements into </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">game</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it could </ins>be a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">great compliment </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">co-op heavy gamep</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Overall</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the PC version does deliver some aesthetically pleasing differences from the </ins>Xbox 360 <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">- most notably </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">graphics improvements</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but it's still the same game. Even though it looks prettier</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">the same flaws remain</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">If you have a great PC, and </ins>you <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">haven't already purchased Fable 3 , pick it up. The RPG elements may be minimal, and simplistic, but the game still manages to be an engrossing experience - because of all </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">things </ins>you <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">can do in </ins>(<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">and to) the wo</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Beginning on Thursday</ins>, the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">event opens up with panels for Dead Rising 2 </ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Halo: Reach </ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Star Wars</ins>: The <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Force Unleashed 2 , Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood , and </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">panel detailing Capcom</ins>'s <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">plans for the rest of the year. For better or for worse, </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">last generation </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">console was dominated by online gaming with competitive matchmaking becoming a norm for most AAA game titles, helping make </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">eSports culture more mainstream</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">The popularity </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">series such as Halo </ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Call of Duty </ins>and <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">FIFA meant that for many gamers</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">online play was </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">main reason </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">keep playing a </ins>game. The <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">consequences of this were that several publishers became slaves </ins>to the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">trend, putting </ins>(<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">forcing?</ins>) <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">in needless multiplayer modes </ins>that <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">took away from certain game as </ins>a <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">wh</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">In an interview with Digital Spy </ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Head of Lionhead Studios John Needham explained that this new online direction for the studio isn't going to be exclusive to Fable Legends . Following </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">departure of Peter Molyneux </ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Needham - who has an MMO pedigree - took over the studio in his stead. With that pedigree</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">he said that all future games from the studio will boast </ins>"<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">connected</ins>" <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">aspects</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Being candid about his roots</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Neeham said, "We're online </ins>game <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">guys</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">that</ins>'s the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">studio. We love online games, we love interaction with real people</ins>, and we <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">want to bring that magic to Fable" </ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">He explained that interaction between characters and NPCs is what made the world of Albion a special place </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">play in. The goal </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">[https://fablelegendary.com/ Fable beginner guide|https://fablelegendary</ins>.<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">com/] Legends is to experiment with that dynamic and see what </ins>would <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">happen if you substituted those interactions </ins>and brought <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">in real players to the </ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">First and foremost</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Molyneux wanted to clear the air by saying that the demo shown during </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">E3 press conference was indeed an "on rails" sequence</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">but was not indicative of the final experience. In an effort to keep bugs and motion control issues to a minimum</ins>, the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">team at </ins>Lionhead <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">devised </ins>this <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">tech demo to show </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">capabilities </ins>of the game<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, not necessarily what </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">final product will look l

That criteria is consonant with a Lionhead job listing </ins>which <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">surfaced last year</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">brimming with suggestive language related </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">next-gen engine/graphical design</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">There are some curious distinctions</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">however</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">present in </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">animation director description that point directly toward work </ins>on the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable franch</ins>

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">One of the franchises that came out largely unscathed by excessive multiplayer capabilities </ins>was the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Fable series. While Fable III did boast co-op capabilities, Lionhead Studios has never done anything quite on </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">scale </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">what it is attempting with </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">newly announced Fable Legends . The franchise's </ins>next<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">-gen debut, an Xbox One exclusive, is an ambitious online jump for the series, allowing up to four players the opportunity to work together </ins>in <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">order thwart another player taking on the role </ins>of the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">vill</ins>

The <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Journey evoked the past the franchise </ins>is <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">sorely in need of honoring. The hiring </ins>of <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Needham could presage </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">concepts it uses to do so uniquely</ins>. <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Whether or not Fable 4 would find success with such a model, well, </ins>that<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">'s another matter entirely</ins>. But <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">with Microsoft anxious </ins>to <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">preview its exclusive launch line-up for </ins>the <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">next-gen Xbox both </ins>at <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">its May 21 press conference </ins>and, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">doubtless</ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">E3 2013 </ins>, <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">it might be long before we find</ins>
Unlike the 360 version, the PC version allows players to increase the difficulty level - which some may find too easy on the default setting. However, I felt the time was right to pursue a new independent ventu

The last thing I saw was the Kinect taking over the remainder of the Microsoft Press Conference which was just sad. Demos of games in which you pet tigers, ride rafts through a river, and exercise all shared a unified element; they excited the core gamer in absolutely no way, shape or form. I cringed when they showed Kinectimals . I scratched my head when I saw the running in place game and I literally had to leave the room when they showed the fitness title. The racing game in which you steer with your hands was easily the most hardcore-oriented title shown for Kinect. The dancing game really irked me though because everyone they brought out to play already knew the routines. I don’t see how one without knowledge of the dance steps prior would be able to play (dance) at that level of enjoyment and not make a few more mistakes along the

First, we have the Natal imagined by Cirque de Soleil debut which, if you weren’t there, was not very "hardcore" and did focus on Kinect. The next thing the world saw from Microsoft at the world's biggest trade event was the Microsoft Press Conference, meant to focus mainly on Xbox 360 and its exclusive lineup, or so we thought. This showing could not have been too substantial for hardcore revealed to gamers very little because most of the content was already speculated or announced by MS themselves before hand. We knew we would hear from three of the Xbox's ONLY _ exclusive secret weapons; _Fable III, Gears of War III and Halo: Reach . Therefore, their presence brought very little excitem

Oftentimes, the other concern, when discussing ported games, is the controls. Lionhead claimed that this was their number one priority in building the PC version of the game. They completely reconfigured the control system for the PC - taking advantage of key things like the mouse wheel (which is used to switch between magic, guns, and swords, similar to how it is used in shooters to switch weapons). The game controls well, and even for a native Xbox player I found it easy to pick up and play. Of course, the game also supports gamepads, and using the 360 controller offered a equivalent experience to playing on the X

When Fable: The Journey was first demoed during the Microsoft press conference many gamers balked at the idea of playing the next title in a very adventure friendly title using Kinect. Amidst a ton of demos that were showcasing titles that were "on rails," Fable: The Journey looked to be unfortunately following along the same tr

The industry's current infatuation with motion control gaming is openly seen as a clever (or not so clever) ploy to divert the attention of the "casual" gamer from Nintendo’s very successful Wii console. It has been common knowledge for some time now that both Sony and MS are developing their own approach to motion control gaming, the Move and Kinect respectively. But to take the world's largest annual industry platform, at which many of gaming's biggest showcases have occurred, and focus on this single, controversial piece of hardware as the centerpiece has left many fans, myself included, shaking their fist in the air and wondering what the heck happe
