Against multiplayer mainstays like Counter-Strike , Dota 2 , League of Legends , the latest editions of Call of Duty or Battlefield , and more, the chances of a lasting community around a new multiplayer title grow slimmer each year: thankfully, Overwatch seems to have proven the opposite in so many ways with a bustling and vibrant community, whether it's been in-game or on the game's subred

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered tells the exact same plot from the 2007 original: Russian ultra nationalist Imran Zakhaev seeks to shift the balance of power in the Middle-East, and by using Khaled Al-Asad to lead a coup, the duo successfully assassinate Saudi Arabian President Yasir Al-Fulani, resulting in a conflict that draws in the United States Army and British Task Force 141. Despite being a nine-year-old story, Modern Warfare Remastered’s tale of espionage, invasion, and nuclear warfare resonates as much today as it did back in 2007. The plot is a lot more grounded and realistic than any recent Call of Duty game and has more of a Steven Spielberg feel to it rather than the Michael Bay of late. You’re not a super solider stuck in the middle of out-of-this-world set piece, but rather a regular soldier working with a squad to complete objectives.

Despite being an old game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered feels fresh. In every match that I've played, I've discovered some new bit of the world I hadn't uncovered before, whether it's a poster hanging in the Hollywood map, or a piece of dialogue between characters that opens up key bits of information about their relationships and bonds. More than pretty much any other multiplayer game I've experienced (save for maybe Team Fortress 2 ), Overwatch 's world and characters are incredibly likable, compelling, and engaging even without a campaign to establish them all, and it's all the more reason why Blizzard's design have kept me coming back to the game throughout the y

More than I can remember in recent years, 2016 had me overwhelmed with great games to enjoy all throughout the year. So I'm going to show my colors here. I am PC MR for sure. That's where I got my start in gaming. There is no way in the world I would the PC version of the game ship if it was poor. It plays amazingly, I love it. When we do our play test I do play with a controller, but I get owned so bad. But it's so satisfying trying to play PC for our play test and come out with a two to three KD and I'm like 'there bches. Don't give me any more sht. I'm okay!' I'm amazed that people can do it, but you get me on a mouse and keyboard I'm going to wreck some sht up. So yeah it's really good. It's great. The frame rate is fantastic. Now I also have a killer rig, so I'm not playing on the lowest common denominator for sure, but I am really enjoying it. So for someone who comes from that background I think that anyone who plays this on PC is going to be really happy.

A quick summary of each player's most-played heroes is now available by highlighting the player in the Groups section of the Social menu (statistics displayed will dynamically change based on the mode/rule

Of course, Overwatch is a fluid game with lots of changes . This list of rankings could be outdated by the time the next patch comes around. Still, if you're new to the game and don't know where to start, are looking to pick up a new character, or are a just Hanzo main looking to get mad at where he's placed, this is a good list for you. Here is Every Overwatch Hero, Ranked Worst To B

Even with quite a few titles moving to 2012, it's painfully awesome what's still coming in November 2011. Skyrim is my most anticipated game of the year, but I also hope to play War in the North , Assassin's Creed Revelations , Uncharted 3 , Minecraft and Modern Warfare 3 out of what's new and desperately trying to make time to return to Battlefield 3 , Gears of War 3 , Forza 4 and the Batman games.

A lot of gamers will no doubt spend much of November in the online trenches of Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 but, with a few exceptions, I've always been drawn to great single player experiences.
