The Game Rant Game Guide: November 11 Edition
In the face of Assassin's Creed: Revelations and a chance to relive the original Halo with Anniversary I'll have my hands full this month. And while Skyrim looks prepared to consume the rest of my existence, it seems it will have to wait until the Christmas break. Oh, and that's overlooking my need to finish Arkham City, Gears of War 3 and Forza 4 . Ye
Gears of War 3 - There's nothing quite like chainsawing through your friends - especially with Halloween approaching - and if your chainsaw happens to be attached to your gun, well, all the better. Football Manager 11 - With midterms abound, there's nothing like a good bout of sports management that you can run in the background whilst you focus on cracking out papers. Until league mods come out for FM12, I'll stick with last year's version. The The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim - This game can't come out soon enough. My housemates may worry when I disappear for three days without food into my room, but trust me, it'll be worth it. Most Anticipated Game: Uncharted 3 hands down. The original Uncharted was fantastic, and the sequel only built upon that and provided excitement all the way through. From the pieces I've played of Uncharted 3 so far, the full game will be an experience to beh
February is a month I'm really looking forward to, as my most anticipated FPS game cheats for the year (now that Metro: Last Light is delayed), Binary Domain releases in latter half of the month. In addition, I've also got a PlayStation Vita First Edition Bundle on pre-order, which means I'll be playing both that and the pack in game Little Deviants , though I also plan to pick up WipEout 2048 at launch. Lastly, alongside the aforementioned Binary Domain I'm also going to be purchasing HyperDimension Neptunia Mk.2 , though I probably won't get around to playing it until I finish the first game, which is going to take up the first half of February. I also really want to play Alan Wake's American Nightmare , but with my 360 currently out of commission I'm going to have wait until I get a new cons
There's a tiered system to the skins, and Tracer currently has the highest number of the top tier "Legendary" skins, with eight in total. Some of these skins contain easy to miss details and references. The "Slipstream" skin seen above puts Tracer back in her original fighter pilot outfit, complete with aviators as a reference to the character's origins. The name of the "T.Racer" skin, coupled with the character wearing a speedway style helmet, seems to be a nod to cult anime show Speed Racer. Several fans have theorized that Tracer's "Posh" and "Sporty" costumes are references to British girl group The Spice Girls. However, unless Blizzard unexpectedly drops a Scary, Baby, or Ginger skin on us in the near future, we may never know for s
It is no secret that Overwatch has inspired the creation of a lot of pornography. There are countless illicit images of Overwatch characters online that have been created since before the game was even relea

These three are being grouped together for the simple reason that they will ultimately be CG characters in this live-action adaptation. Bastion is the easiest to cast as he’s a purely mechanical creation – minus his bird companion – who speaks in beeps and boops. No notable actor is required to play him. Zenyatta and Winston are a little more interesting in that they do actually have dialog and therefore could be played by big name tale
One of the most popular characters on the Overwatch roster is Tracer, the young, lightning quick Brit with teleportation powers. Even though the game has a ton of wildly different characters, Tracer has arguably become the face of the game, appearing on promotional material and the final box-art. It was perhaps because of her prominence that she hit headline news late last year when it was revealed, via Christmas themed comic "Reflections", that she was the first of Overwatch 's confirmed LGBTQ charact
Each of the characters in Overwatch have instantly recognizable voices, and Tracer is no exception. English actress Cara Theobold was hired to give Tracer her signature peppy tones and, judging from the character's popularity, she did a fantastic job. When the voice cast list was released, fans scrambled to find the actors' previous work, and it turns out that Cara's first acting job was a recurring role as a kitchen maid in the hugely popular British period drama series, Downton Abb
Hanzo has become something of a meme amongst the Overwatch community. As a lone wolf character that demands fairly respectable accuracy from the player that chooses him, he has turned into the go-to source of player frustrations from both teams. In Overwatch lore, Hanzo is a master assassin who was thrust into the role of clan leader. He was required to kill his brother – more on him in a moment – in order to solidify his position, and spent the rest of his life trying to put as any bodies as possible between himself and his regretful act
