Although this year’s E3 felt a little odd with Sony and a few other publishers skipping the show, there were still plenty of exciting games on display. Some offered behind closed doors live demos, others actually let attendees go hands-on, and a few only had short prepared videos availa

The second of two Smash Bros DLC reveals, this one came at near the end of Nintendo's E3 2019 presentation. It smartly reused King K. Rool's reveal trailer, this time putting the King inside of Donkey Kong's house with Diddy. The trailer played out similarly with the Duck Hunt Dog trolling the group until Banjo and Kazooie finally showed up and revealed their inclusion at long last. For many fans, it was also a cool moment to see King K. Rool, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Banjo, and Kazooie all together once again considering their shared history under the development studio R

So without taking the latter category into account, Game Rant has selected its choices for the Best Games of E3 2019 . Keep in mind personal preference plays a part in this selection and some things we saw are not currently available onl

Warframe

Warframe from Digital Extremes has had surprisingly strong legs, with the free-to-play shooter still popular to this day. Fans of the game should be able to get a peak at what's next for Warframe when the game is featured at E3 2

At its own EA Play E3 2019 event, Electronic Arts gave fans their first real look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on Saturday at EA Play. However, a day later during Microsoft's press conference, a new trailer was shown off revealing gameplay moments from the lengthy demo as well as new footage of Cal not previously seen. Plenty of story details were also strewn in throughout including the game's many support characters like the rebel Saw Gerrera , who many Star Wars fans will remember from other media such as films, TV, and com

Earlier this month, DualShockers got to spend some one-on-one time with a pre-beta build of Rage 2 . Starting at an early part in the game, we took the controller and were let loose on the world. Playing as Walker 30 years after the original RAGE 's asteroid hit, there were no limits or boundaries in where we could or couldn't go. The game is recognizably a marriage of developer Avalanche Studios' world-building and physics and id Software's combat logic. It's awes

If there's one thing that I cannot understate about my time playing doom eternal weapons|https://doometernalplay.com/ Eternal this week it would be that it just feels incredible to play. The shooting, movement, and everything else in between just feel s perfect. Conveying the feel of a game is a hard thing to get across in pieces like this without having actually played it for yourself, but the way everything bleeds into one another in this game is incredi

Outside of Final Fantasy 7 , the other major title fans were anticipating from Square Enix was Marvel's Avengers . While this game had been previously announced, nearly nothing had been shown. The E3 2019 trailer gave fans their first look at the game and its five starting heroes: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, and Black Widow. As the trailer reveals, a celebration turns deadly, splitting up the team until five years later when new threats force them to reassem

Obsidian Entertainment’s live gameplay demo of The Outer Worlds put a lot of emphasis on the RPG systems of the game. For all intents and purposes, Obsidian is making a more space-focused version of Fallout , complete with companions, skill trees, dialogue checks, and tons of stats. If Fallout 76 left you wanting, The Outer Worlds is swooping in to fill that RPG v

Luigi doesn’t get enough love within the Nintendo hierarchy, but he finally gets his much-requested sequel with Luigi’s Mansion 3 . Going hands-on with the game brought back memories of the Gamecube-era experience, from flashing ghosts to inhaling them with your Poltergust 3000. The Luigi’s Mansion formula doesn’t feel sufficiently mined yet, and so this third entry will try to combine a modern platform with new puzzles, clever design, and a charming main charac

One of, if not the biggest name at E3 2019 was CD Projekt RED's ambitious open world title, Cyberpunk 2077 . The CG trailer introduced fans to the male version of V, showed off plenty of new story elements, and finally gave people an actual release date for the game. With one of the biggest questions now answered, the studio upped the ante even further by announcing the inclusion of Johnny Silverhand played by none other than Keanu Reev

While these short sections did break things up, the traversal mechanics that have been added in combat arenas are largely great. Jumping and swinging on a monkey bar to launch yourself into the air only to then drop out of the sky and blast a Cacodemon in the face with your Super Shotgun is extremely satisfy

Also, can I just say how dumb DOOM Eternal is? Like, dumb in the best way possible. As much as I love playing the DOOM series, I think my favorite quality above all else is just how self-aware and nonsensical these games are. Eternal seems to be leaning into that wackiness even furt
