Voting started on December 24th, and ended on January 21st. Each voter was asked to give ten preferences in order, with the first game scoring four points, second and third scoring three, ranks from four to six scoring two points, and the rest only one. Two honorable mentions were also allowed, but scored no points.

If you're wondering what games were eligible to be nominated, the pool includes "any video game which was released, and made publicly available to consumers, during the year 2016, irrespective of platform or delivery medium, is eligible for nomination. Upgrades, expansions and mission packs are not eligible." All professional developers who are part of the International Choice Awards Network were eligible to provide nominati

In the face of Assassin's Creed: Revelations and a chance to relive the original Halo with Anniversary I'll have my hands full this month. And while Skyrim looks prepared to consume the rest of my existence, it seems it will have to wait until the Christmas break. Oh, and that's overlooking my need to finish Arkham City, Gears of War 3 and Forza 4 . Ye

Whether you’re a casual or hardcore gamer, the following games offer various difficulties so players of all skills may enjoy them. Anyone who loves shooters will enjoy these games, and players looking for a challenge can test themselves with new strategies, difficult AI, and talented players. Here’s 15 modern shooters that significantly surpass Call of Duty: Infinite Warfa

As a series centered on futuristic weapons and equipment, Halo pioneered the style found in Infinite Warfare . Jetpacks, dashing, and holograms are some of many abilities wielded by players in the later Halo games. Vehicles provide thrilling attacks throughout the series, giving players tanks, jeeps armed with turrets, and alien spacecraft. Numerous weapons and abilities allow individuals to experiment with different playstyles while vehicles and varied maps build team dynam

It's hardly surprising that Uncharted 3 is our most anticipated game, as the sequel to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, one of the most critically acclaimed games of this generation it would be difficult for most to pass up this title. Uncharted 3 is said to be an even bigger game than it's predecessors, with absolutely jaw dropping set pieces. Our review for the title should be dropping in the coming weeks, so be sure to stay tuned to Game Rant to hear (read?) what we have to say about one of the most anticipated titles this y

Star Wars: The Old Republic is at the top of my list (and will continue to be for some time) but now that I've finally taken the plunge into picking up a legitimate gaming PC, there's a good chance I'll try my hand at Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2 to see what all the graphical buzz was about. SSX will absolutely be seeing some of my time after the science behind the game left me stunned, and the impending release of the Mass Effect 3 demo means putting off all that Mass Effect 2 DLC just won't do. The term "Hanzo Main" has become something of an insult online. While it is certainly a refreshing change of pace from the usual racist/sexist/homophobic insults that are usually thrown about online, it is still an odd thing to be used as a derogatory term. Is someone's choice of video game character truly an insult? If the Internet was as prevalent in the '90s as it is today, would we be angrily calling people "E. Honda main" or "Mr. Mime main" in online c

Aside from that, Kingdom’s of Amalur’s trash talking has me wanting to play the game for a brand new reason. I’ve got a fighting thirst that I want to quench with Soul Calibur V and UFC Unleashed 3 , and I still haven’t given up on Syndicate tossing together a solid FPS Game maps experience. I’m gonna go ahead and toss in Skyrim too because let’s face it, I don’t know if I’ll finish that monster by this time next y
